Welcome to the brand new Helping Writers Become Authors site! (The new K.M. Weiland site, dedicated exclusively to my fiction, went up last week.) I am absotively, posolutely, 110% thrilled with how the site turned out. The incredible team at Varick Design get all kinds of props and thanks from me for all the hard work and expertise they brought to both sites.
We still have a few bugs to work to out, so please bear with us. Also, now that we’re officially a WordPress site, rather than a Blogger blog, we’ll likely have a few transitions to figure out. For one thing, the old Blogspot URL (wordplay-kmweiland.blogspot.com) will now redirect here. For another, if you were following via email (I think we’re going to get the old Feedburner RSS up and running, so this may resolve itself—however, Feedburner is being discontinued, so eventually, we will have to work out something new for email subscriptions) or via Google Friend Connect, you won’t be receiving updates any longer.I hope you’ll enjoy the new site as much as I am already. If you have any suggestions for how we can make it more accessible and useful to you, be sure to let me know.
And now, in other news . . .To get word out about Structuring Your Novel: Essential Keys for Writing an Outstanding Story, I’ll be going on a blog tour, starting next week, running right up until the release date on September 1st, 2013, and then picking up again the week after the launch and running through September 20th.A ton of fantabulous bloggers and writers have agreed to host me. Following is the schedule. If any of the subjects pique your fancy, be sure to stop by and say hi! I’ll be updating the links and sharing them on my social media sites as the posts go live.

Holy cow! What a line up of great posts! I got on here and I’m was so confused for a second. I kept looking thinking, I know I’ve been on her blog before… I thought my mind had finally shut down. I love the new site, it’s fabulous! I’m very excited for your newest book. Outlining Your Novel is one of my favorite writing books; it is always by my side.
Thank you! I’m just thrilled with the way the site turned out too. I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed Outlining. I hope you find Structuring helpful as well!
Wow!!! A blog touring. That is the most awesome idea I have heard. Congratulations on your new book, I have already bought it, and I’m reading it. Great book! I have also read Outlining. The best book I have read about that topic. Thank you.
So glad you’re enjoying the books!
