You can win points by:
1. Buying a book. I’m trying to create a surge of sales to boost the book in Amazon’s ratings, so I’d like to encourage people to purchase this week. Email me copy of your sales receipt from Amazon or Barnes & Noble to km.weiland [at] ymail [dot] com.
Buy a book = 10 points
2. Buy more than one book! You get ten extra points for each additional book you buy, no matter which day of the week you buy it on.

Tweet about the book = 1 point per day, possible 5 points over the course of the week.

5. Post a picture of the book after purchase. Upload the picture (or your e-reader with the book’s cover displayed on the screen) to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or your blog and email me the link.

How do we enter the hourly bonus prize?
Thank you! You enter the hourly bonus prize the same way you enter for the big prizes. I’ll be drawing names from the big pool of entrants throughout today and posting them here as winners of the hourly prize. This does not disqualify the winners from the overall contest.

I do, and I just bought the book via 1-Click on my Kindle and tagged you on Facebook. 🙂
Awesome! I’ll keep an eye out for it.
Just a quick note to say thank you! As one of the hourly winners, I’m now in the fortunate position of having to decide which book to read first! Best of luck on your new book launch. Thanks for this opportunity.

Very exciting contest and very tempted to ask for this terrific looking book for my birthday this week. 🙂
Thanks, Kathleen! Sounds like your birthday came just at the right time. 😉
Ah, you know I ALREADY bought it on August 22! (Totally brilliant book, and perfect timing as I’m in Outlining and Plotting mode)
And of COURSE I will spread the lurve!

Got ’em. Thanks, Don!
Do we have to post our links here? I don’t recall seeing that direction in the rules. But since there are others here that are doing the same, I’ll do it too!
Here is the link to the Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/samantha.lafantasie?hc_location=stream

Congrats btw! I bought a copy of the book and sent you the receipt in the email. 🙂 I know this will help me tons! Thanks for the opportunity!
Thanks so much, Samantha! No, you don’t have to post your links here. As long as you’ve tagged me, I’ll be able to find and record your entries on other sites. But if you’re having trouble tagging me or just want to make double sure that I see your links, feel free to post them here as well.
Just got my copy now! I’m excited to read it.
Yay! Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy it!
Congrats! And here’s my tweet:

Got it! Thank you!
Awesome! Congrats! And I’ll be downloading my copy asap. 🙂
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy it!
Good luck with the launch and congratulations! I know a lot of hard work went into this. I’m looking forward to getting a copy for myself. I don’t need the manuscript critique since my children’s books top out at 20,000 words but the Kindle Fire or Scrivener would be awesome! Tweeted/Google+’d it, LinkedIn’d it and Facebook’d it. Hope it helps spread the word!
Thanks, Charity! Good luck in the contest!
Congrats!!! So excited for you.
I tweeted!
Thanks so much! Good luck in the contest.

Got it! Thanks, Don.
What Post am I supposed to share on FB to get into the giveaway?
This one. All you have to do is post the link and tag me, so I can see and count the entry.
I’m proud to say I bought the book yesterday and just emailed you the receipt.
I now know what I’ll be doing this weekend and it’s perfect timing since I just finished your outlining book a couple of days ago.
Outlining has worked for me in the past though your book helped me with zeroing in on a good structured way of doing it. I’m making my notes off of the book and after reading your new one will be starting on a new story-thank you!
You’re so welcome! Totally makes my day to hear Outlining was useful to you – and hope Structuring proves to be as well.
I bought your book and sent you the receipt by e-mail, and I tweeted about the contest:
https://twitter.com/dutchhillgirl/status/375626526764457984
Awesomesauce! Good luck!
Wow, I must have a dozen how to write books. Some good, some bad, some unread, some not able to read past a few pages, some left me wondering why I’d wasted my money, and of course some had loads of information. However, this book knocked my socks off, sat me back at my laptop inspired, and looking at everything with a fresh perspective.

Fabulous contest!

Posted a pic of my eReader w/ Structuring Your Novel on it: https://www.facebook.com/nikimoss
And obviously purchased Structuring Your Novel from B&N. I have emailed you my receipt using your email form. I tried emailing directly first using the address above (using proper @ and . of course), but it bounced back as undeliverable. Not sure what was up there, but hopefully you’ll get it through the email form.
Thanks! And good luck with your launch!
Thanks, Niki! Sorry you had problems with the email going through. Glad you were able to get it figured out!

Thanks, Karla!
Emailed you my FB post, (I Don’t like posting links to my FB wall on blogs. Hope you don’t mind)
Are entries still being accepted today? I know the winners will be announced some time today, but I’m not sure what the entry cutoff is.
Was thinking about sharing this on FB for my writer friends if today’s the last day of entries, but didn’t want to put it out there if entries are already closed.
The entries are now closed. I announced the winners here. Thank you all so much for participating!
