Inciting Event: A man and a wife, condemned to hang, accuse the Bow Street Runners of mercenary motives just before they die.

First Plot Point: Henry is hired by a noblewoman to look into her lover’s death.

First Pinch Point: Henry’s house is assaulted by a mob angry at him for the deaths of the man and his wife.

Midpoint: Henry and his mistress are attached in a carriage.

Second Pinch Point: Henry is assaulted by a mob when he tries to apprehend a suspect.

Third Plot Point: Henry is falsely accused and arrested for a theft.

Climax: Henry is tried for the theft.

Climactic Moment: The true murderer/thief is revealed.

Resolution: Henry hangs out with his mistress.
